Well... Hello!

I can't believe I haven't posted in over a year! How fast time goes!! 2010... already! 2009 wasn't all that great, hopefully 2010 will be better. I'm having trouble trying to figuire people out! It sucks! just when I think I have it... it changes! Life goes on. This year will be something, My daughter will be 16! I can hardly believe it, My son will be 10, I hope I'm doing things right with them, I try.. anyway... let's hope it's a great year. I'm ready for spring, hope it comes soon!

2009

Well, here we are starting a new year! I think it will be a great year. 2008 went so fast, it had its ups and down. I went through some pretty rough things, but, it only makes me stronger. I think I'm finally realizing things that I probably should have figured out years ago... better late then never! I have been working on the whole *me first* concept, that's a hard one, but I think I'm getting better at it. I have distanced myself from some not so good for me relationships and strengthened the ones that are. I will continue to work on my flaws and being a better person. I think its going to be a wonderful year.

I Love Christmas!

Well, Christmas is over, it's back to reality! I made it through the "Family thing" it was pretty good! Everyone actually helped clean up and everyone got along!! Don't know how that happened, but, it was nice! We spent Christmas eve with My husbands side of the family all went well. On Christmas day My children were up bright and early (bright nothing, it was still dark out!) They woke us up at 6:30., then informed us that they let us sleep in, because they were up a little after 5!! WOW! Anyway, up and opening presents, by 11 I was very tired, I took a nap till about 1, then we went to my SIL's house for dinner, We all had a good time . Now that it's over and it's time to focus on important things, like the Vikings! They sure know how to stress me!, but, that's for another time! Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! and all have a safe New Year!

Well, just a quick note to say, wish me luck!! I'm hosting Christmas for my family!! Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!! I'm sure it will turn out fine, I have Tylenol, A bottle of my pills, and if all else fails I have Alchol! I'm covered! Oh! company is he gotta go!!

Christmas baking!

Well, I have been baking for almost a week and I'm almost done. I can't believe how relaxed I feel when I'm baking! I love it! I have made 9 different cookies, 2 different candies and 1 pan of bars. I think I have 5 more things to make and then I'll be done. Everything has turned out great! (even my 2nd batch of kisses cookies, The first batch was gone. ) I truly love the holidays!

The Christmas Tree

With everything that is going crazy (including me) I found a little bit of happiness spending time with my family to decorate our tree. It was a good time! It seemed to take me away from all my worries, for a short period of time. It took me looking at the pictures to realize that things could be worse and I'm very grateful for my family. The tree turned out nice. It is always fun to look at the ornaments and reminisce. My next challenge is to get gifts under it! One step at a time!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Well, It's Monday! The weekend is over, what a long one it was! My thanksgiving was wonderful! The dinner was fabulous! It was so great to spend the whole day somewhere without Drama! I can't remember every having such a relaxing day on a holiday! I am truly thankful for my family, and very glad We spent Thanksgiving the way we did!! It couldn't have been better! The rest of my weekend was okay. However, I glad it's back to school!
